Xin Lin Is 5 Months Old!

My baby Xin Lin turns 5 months old today! I've seen a lot of differences in her, especially for the past 1-2 weeks. For eg, her crying is different now. I can't describe it but she seems to have added something like 'Boahh....'amongst her usual crying. Hahaha!

She also does not sleep as long as before and she will demand attention and will only stop crying when you come to her and talk to her. If you choose to ignore her and let her cry, she cannot be stopped even when you talk to her. She has to be carried immediately, else you see her whole face red and she'll be terribly upset. Once carried and propped upright, her crying stopped instantly. If you put her back on the bed, her crying starts as soon as her head , or rather when her body comes into contact with the mattress. Then you will have to immediately prop her upright again and either carry her or let her lie on the pillow. But because she's still not strong enough, she will fall to one side and end on with her face down on the mattress.
Happiest when propped upright...:)

Flipping to her side and almost successful in lying on her tummy...

Once I left her propped up on the pillow and put bolsters beside her to prevent her from falling sideways and went to the toilet for a short while. I suddenly heard a muffled crying. Sensing something wrong, I immediately went to see her and there she is, tummy on the bed and looking sideways at me and crying pitifully at the same time. Though she's able to lift up her head, she choose to bury her face into the mattress. Sigh...Think my baby just do not like lying on her tummy. Though I've already found her flipping and sort of lying on her tummy a couple of times.
Getting grouchy just after a few minutes on her tummy...hee!
Though she used to look more like her jie jie, Xin Rui, she's gradually developing her own unique look. But many people still say she looks like me. Haa! But looking at Xin Rui, I think Xin Lin will not turn out too bad either. Afterall, they are from the 'same factory' mah. Hahaha! I'm sure many mums out there will agree, no matter what, a mother will always think that her babies are the prettiest and most adorable in the whole world :)
