ABC

Just yesterday, Xin Lin blurted out 'Xie Xie' in mandarin. This is adding on to her vocabulary of '1, 2, 3, 4', 'A, B, C' and 'Bye Bye'. But as suual, she will not say it again when you prompt her to. But she does like to say 'ABC' quite often. I reckoned it's because I've been singing the ABC song to her and showing her the karaoke version on TV. Yes, I bought two box sets of karaoke nursery rhyme songs for her, one English and one Mandarin. Cos I thought she can learn something from them since she likes music so much. Whenever I sing the ABC song or she hears the song on TV, she will attempt to sing as well. Though not accurate, it's fun to hear her attempting to sing.

Nowadays, she also likes to pick up the phone and 'talk' to some imaginary person. This is how it goes: XinRui picks up the earpiece, place it somewhere near her ear or rather neck, blabber a lot of stuffs, adding some nods here and there, followed by some hand action, then ending it with 'Bye Bye'. Hahahaha. Sometimes, she will hand the earpiece to me and asked us to 'talk to the person'. When there's really someone on the phone, she will just listen quitely and not say anything. Hahaha!

She also gets excited whenever someone ring the doorbell and will run excitedly to the door, waiting for us to open it. If the door is already open and she hears our dog barks, she will also run with him towards to the door, saying 'Woah...woah....woah' and wait to see who's at the door. I thought that was pretty cute, especially when I'm the one at the door and i see her face lights up...so precious :)
