First Shopping Trip with Xin Lin

Just before I went back to work, my sister asked me to go shopping with her. I was still taking care of Xin Lin then but I decided to be adventurous and bring Xin Lin along with me for shopping all by myself as it was a weekday and my hubby was at work.

So, with Xin Lin in the baby carrier and fully equipped, I gamely took the bus on my own and went to the nearby Junction 8. We had a quick lunch before proceeding to shop. But like all mothers, I was immediately drawn to this shop that sells lots of sweet princessy stuffs for kids. My sister and I ended up buying enough stuffs from the shop to become a member. Then, we went to a few other shops and my sister tried on some clothes while I entertained my chubby princess. We even met the little baby who acted in the recent Channel 8 show. I can't remember the name of the show but I think Cynthia Koh and Evelyn Kwok acted in that show. The baby was quite cute and some passerby even took photo with her. Hahaha.

After 1-2 hours, my arms and shoulders were already aching after carrying my chubby baby. Think she must have put on more weight for the past month. I highly suspect that she must be at least more than 8kg. Can't imagine that Xin Rui is only 10.1kg right now. I think Xin Lin is seriously going to be so much chubbier than Xin Rui. Hahaha! But I reckon she might slim down as she grows....hee!

But after this trip, it gives me a little more confidence to bring my girl out on my own, though it should still be kept to the nearby neighbourhood. Hahah!
