A Walk In The Park

We brought our girls to the neighbourhood park during the CNY period. Our dog, Munk Munk also came along with us as it's been a long time since we last brought him out for a walk. We bought our breakfast at the McDonald's drive-through before proceeding to the nearby park. Though there are two of us, it's challenging to carry a baby, hold on to the toddler and leash and breakfast. I scalded my hand with the hot tea cos the staff forgot to close the lid properly. Fortunately, it's not very serious and I was ok after putting some ice on it.

After breakfast in the park, we went for a stroll. The weather was pretty good but a bit hot. Nevertheless, we still decided to take a short walk. Xin Lin fell asleep in her stroller as there was shade. But Xin Rui was very excited as she has never run round the park before. And for some reason, Xin Rui loved holding the leash and walking Munk Munk. When she cannot keep up with Munk Munk, she will drop the leash. But she will get upset and want to catch hold of the leash again. This happened quite a few times and it's interesting to watch the pair. Hopefully, we will be able to go for another walk with Munk Munk soon.

We are off to the park...

...baby, toddler and dog in tow...

Hubby cutting up the pancake for Xin Rui...

Xin Rui munching happily...

...while Xin Lin can only be contented with sucking her thumb...

...and Munk Munk waiting for scraps of food to fall from Xin Rui..

Finally, we are going for a stroll. But first, we must buckle Mei Mei up :)

Some nice flowers we saw along the way

Love the lovely lotus in the pond

Xin Rui insist on taking Munk for a walk :)

'Daddy, can u tell Munk to slow down? I can't keep up with him.'

'Munk, what's wrong? Why are u not walking?'

Munk (to himself): 'Sigh, my little mistress can't see that the leash in entangled with my leg.'
Munk (looking at me): 'Mistress, help me, help me.'

Finally, we are on the road again

Xin Rui (wiping her perspiration): 'Phew, walking the dog is really hard work.'

'Good job, Munk Munk!' *pat pat*
