Happy Rabbit Year!

It had been a tiring but happy CNY for our entire family this year. I always love CNY and this year is special because Xin Lin Mei Mei is here to celebrate with us :) And what's more, CNY falls on a Thursday this year and this means we have 4 days of celebration!
On CNY Eve, we went to my in-laws' place to have reunion lunch/dinner and rushed home to do some last minute spring cleaning. We switched on all the lights and let Xin Rui and Xin Lin wear new PJs. I think they can feel that something is different for they were rather happy that night.

Both my princesses in their new PJs and in a very good mood on CNY Eve

On the first day of CNY, we started with the usual visits to my in-laws' place, followed by my grandma's place, then to my aunties' place and lastly my mum's place. I specially bought some adorable CNY clothes for my babies to wear. I couldn't resist spending the money though I know that they will not be able to wear them again next year. Nevertheless, I reasoned that they are only young and cute for a short period of time. If I don't dress them up now, then when? Hee! Both my babies look adorable and pretty that day and received lots of compliments from our relatives. My babies were exhausted by the end of the day and both of them slept earlier than expected. Phew....hee!
Xin Lin a little grouchy because of the high collar of the qipao

Busy eating...

...and drinking...

"I love ice!"

Xin Lin finally happy after we change her out of her qipao. She was scratching her neck like crazy...:P

On the 2nd day of CNY, we went to my hubby's friend's house (which we do every year), followed by a visit to my brother-in-law's place for steamboat. Again, by the time, we reach home, my babies were tired but strangely, they managed to stay awake till around 11pm...:P

On the 3rd day, we finally had the opportunity to stay at home as my friends came over to visit us. Finally, on the 4th day, we went to my brother-in-law's son's full month party. Yes, there's a new addition to the Lee Family and this time it's finally a boy. His name is Ashton. I didn't have the time and opportunity to take a photo of him yet but I'm sure I will have a chance soon. Ashton looks very much like his mother and he's able to sleep through all the noise when we had dinner at their place. Hahaha!
Phew, that sums up the 4 days of CNY and we are looking forward to one more round of visits this weekend. Hee! Oh, did I mention that my two princesses got a lot of ang baos this year? Hee!
This is just half of the ang baos...
Ta-da! Here's how much ang baos my gals collected...:)
