Xin Lin Is 8 Months Old!

Yes, little Xin Lin is 8 months old now. She's not as chubby as she used to be as she's drinking slightly lesser milk, especially in the morning. I think she's not a morning person, just like her mummy. Hahaha! Almost every morning, I will have to wake her up to bring her to the babysitter. You can see her struggling to open her eyes for a little while as I call her name and then fall right back to sleep. Then when she finally woke up, she will give you her sweetest smile. It's as if she has not seen you for a long time, though it's only one night :)

Xin Lin has already started to crawl, though not very stable, she definitely can make her way and lay her hands on some toy that is lying a metre away. If you were to remove it and put it some other direction, she will turn on her tummy and crawl towards it. Haha! Nowadays, she will cry pitifully and loudly if you were to take away whatever things she's holding in her hand or mouth. She has a special liking for remote controls, just like her jie jie. There was once, both of them were fighting for the same toy (yes, it has already begun) and they both ended screaming at the top of their voices. I ended up laughing because it was so funny to watch them scream but not crying. Then they both look at me and ended up laughing too. That is something that they do, ie, when they see me or other people laugh heartily, they will join in and laugh though they do not know why is so funny. Sigh....babies are so adorable....:)
Xin Lin busy crawling...
...then she finally looked up and saw the camera..
..she reached for her 'target'...
"Mummy, I finally got this toy!"
"...now I can put it in my mouth..." Hahaha!

Xin Lin is also eating more semi-solids. Previously, she did not take to rice cereal very much. But yesterday, I fed her some porridge and she lapped it all up. Xin Rui woke up and saw that I was feeding Xin Lin and she wanted me to feed her instead, though we know jolly well that Xin Rui can eat well on her own. Such is the power of jealousy. Haha!
