Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year!

Yes, my posts are always a bit late because there's no time to log on and update my blog at home with two 'angels' clinging to me. Why can't they cling on to their Daddy? And when I have time to log on, the pc or broadband network will give me problem. Sigh...Anyway, this entry is about Christmas celebration, not my complaints. Haha!

Personally, I love Christmas. Somehow, the ambience is so different during Christmas period. We celebrated Christmas with my family at my mum's place this year. We managed to bring the two 'angels' as well as Munk Munk and all our gifts. Luckily, I have the foresight to bring down some of the presents to the car a few days before the celebration, so we didn't have to walk the distance from our flat to the carpark. Though it's less than 5 minutes walk, it feels like eternity when you have to carry a 9kg baby and an active toddler who refused to hold my hand at the carpark and I practically have to pull her hand by force. By the time, we reached the car, Xin Lin was almost at my waist level and my arm almost fell off. :P
Anyway, we somehow survived and reach my mum's place in one piece. We ordered a party set menu from Crystal Jade and it turned out so-so. Only the Wellington Duck, honey-baked ham and hazelnut log cake were more well-received. Anyway, the company was more important and the highlight was the exchanging of gifts and ermm...for the kids, gun shooting session with my the Nerf gun that my hubby brought.

It's the first Christmas for Xin Lin and for my nephew, Constantine as well. But it's the second for Xin Rui. I let Xin Lin wear the same outfit that her sister wore the Christmas before but added a tutu skirt. My nephew, Constantine's only around 5 months old but he's bigger size than Xin Lin. I bought a nice romper for him some time back, purposely choosing a bigger size and it's very 'snug' on him. Actually it's almost bursting in the middle, hahaha, that's how chubby my nephew is. But he's so adorable and extra smiley that day. I think it's because he knows he's getting presents. Hahaha!

Though tiring, I think all of us enjoyed ourselves very much and is looking forward to the next Christmas celebration together :)

Munk Munk lying comfortably in his bag.
Goodness know how long it has been since we last brought him out.
Sorry, Munk Munk.

Multi-tasking- that's what every Mum has to learn.
Notice that I'm feeding Xin Lin on the left hand side and taking photo with Xin Rui at the same time?
Yes, I took this photo. Hee!

Can you believe that this photo is taken by my 5yr old niece, Ariel?
Though the angle is a bit off, I think she managed to take quite a good shot of me and Xin Lin. Hee!

Here's a pic of me and Ariel...

Attempt to take photos with my 'angels'...

...and with Munk Munk...

What actually happened behind the scene is that
Xin Rui was jealous of me carrying Xin Lin and tried to climb her way into the centre...

...then Xin Lin got agitated and started to melt down cos she was sleepy and tired..

Xin Lin got too tired and fell asleep in my sister's arms...

Till next Christmas...Zzzz...
