Sisterly Love

Xin Rui is a good jie jie most of the time. She will sayang and hug Xin Lin when we asked her to. She will also attempt to put the pacifier into Xin Lin's mouth when she cries. Sometimes, she will even attempt to feed Xin Lin with her milk bottle.

"Mei Mei, don't cry. Let Jie Jie give you the pacifier..."

"There, let me hold it properly first..."

"Almost there..."

"Ta-da! There you go" :)

However, recently, she started hitting Xin Lin. Sometimes, it's not painful and Xin Lin will just give a blur and innocent look. But, according to my babysitter, there was once she hitted Xin Lin with a container and Xin Lin cried loudly. This happened just before we went to fetch them after work. And I could still see a big teardrop on Xin Lin's face. Sigh...Maybe it's a sign of jealousy. Xin Rui always want me to carry her whenever she sees me carrying Xin Lin. So most days, I will be the one carrying Xin Rui and my hubby will be carrying Xin Lin to the babysitter's house. On rare occasions, she will reach out for my hand and we will walk home together. But it's a challenge to get her home sometimes as she will just stay put in a spot or roam to neighbours' door to test her boundaries. Sigh..I wonder if she will ever turn back to the 'Little Angel' I once knew :P
