Moo Moo Is Back!

We brought our little princess back yesterday evening. The moment she saw us, her whole face lit up as usual and she flashed us her megawatt smile. That smile was enough to make me feel guilty for leaving her for so long and I quickly 'grabbed' her back from the babysitter. Hehe!

Once home, I tried to make it up to Moo Moo by talking and playing with her more. After some time, I think Moo Moo became more tired than me and she slept. After one hour, she woke up and demand milk. She was a bit grouchy when I was a tad too slow for her liking and threatened to go to what I call full blown cry, ie she will cry non-stop, or rather shriek non-stop and her whole face will turn red and no matter what you say, she will continue to cry. Luckily, I managed to pop the bottle into her mouth before she went into that mode. Hahaha! But her Daddy's loud sneeze was enough to scare her and made her cry again. Sigh...she's such a timid little cow.

But I am just glad to finally hold her in my arms once more. The babysitter told us that she has started Xin Rui on solids by letting her try a small portion of porridge cooked in pork broth and she also mashed up some fish, pumpkin and potatoes for her to try. Guess what? She gobbled the whole thing up. What can I say, my girl is a foodie like her Daddy. Hahaha! But eating solids had also made her poo slightly harder than usual. That actually made the cleaning up easier. :P I think I will also experiment on feeding some solids for Xin Rui, hopefully, she'll like my cooking.
