Recently, I did not have much time to update Moo Moo's blog cos I was busy busy busy. My hubby was also not around at home due to a work-related residential camp he had to attend. So I have to have a quick dinner, rush back to fetch my princess, try to open my door while struggling with carry Moo Moo with one arm (which wasn't really an easy job now that she's becoming more active and heavier as well). Then I have to settle her in the cot and quickly go and feed my dog. While he's eating, I need to clear his shit and urine in the bathroom before I go back to my impatient princess and entertain her a bit. I will then have a quick shower and go back to my princess and play with her for a while until she's hungry and I will feed her and if I'm lucky, she'll sleep almost immediately. In the morning, I will drag myself out of bed and go through the same process of taking care of my dog and bringing Moo Moo to the babysitter. Sigh. I miss my hubby.
Yesterday night, I had to work very late and by the time I fetch Moo Moo, it's already after 10.30pm. Moo Moo was still wide awake and she refused to sleep despite that the babysitter had already fed her. When I put her back in the cot, praying that she will sleep, she started 'talking' loudly, as if complaining that I took so long to fetch her home. She hasn't 'talk' like that for quite a while now. The last time she did it was when we fetch her back from the babysitter for the first time. I think she's using this method to let us know that she feels neglected. Haha! Though I wish that my working hours are not as long and I can spend more time with my baby. It's still not quite possible with my current jobscope which requires me to work during weekends and have meetings on weekday nights. Sigh...
But, I still look forward to the mesmerising smile that I see every morning as I greet my little princess. Her whole face will lit up the moment she sees me and gives me the biggest and cutest smile that can melt your heart. That, alone, gives me the strength to go back to work.
