My little baby Xin Lin is 7 months old now and she's definitely getting more active than ever. She's a little bit more stable when she sits and she enjoys sitting or lying on her tummy a lot. She doesn't like to lie down and makes a lot of noise when we lie her down to change her diaper. She will keep flipping and I will always have a hard time trying to keep her still. It's not helping when she got diaper rash from all the diarrhoea. Fortunately, her diaper rash is getting much better and she's back to her happy active self.
Her appetite is very good and she's drinking 180ml of milk, the same as Xin Rui. But sometimes, she will play with the milk bottle and refuse to drink more than half of it. Sometimes, I try to just give her 150ml of milk but she will finish it all up and cry when I pull the bottle out of her mouth and wanted more. But when I give her 180ml, she will not finish it...Sigh...I think she's trying to play a prank on me. Hahaha!
Xin Lin is also drooling a lot and she likes to splatter her saliva all around. She does it quite often and I have to use a lot of hankies too wipe her saliva. can you imagine how many hankies I have to wash in just a few days? More than a dozen. Though some said that if the baby is drooling and having diarrhoea, it most probably means that she's going to teeth. But the same thing had happened to Xin Rui when she's around the same age as Xin Lin and she only grew her first tooth when she turned 1 year old. So far, Xin Lin's behaviour and the timing for her milestones has been quite similar to Xin Rui. So I reckon she will grow her first tooth later as well :P
Xin Lin also likes to say 'Bah Bah Bah' a lot and she will put her palm to her mouth repeatedly to make the 'Bah Bah Bah' sound, like a Red Indian. Hahaha! She will also hit her hand on any surface repeatedly and shout or give out loud squeals when she's excited :) Xin Lin also likes to suck her thumbs, sometimes she will even put 2 or 3 fingers into her little mouth and ends up with saliva all over her face, hahaha!
Being a responsive baby, Xin Lin gets quite a lot of smiles from strangers on the road and people like to play with her. Sometimes, strangers will just play with her and hold her hand behind my back cos she's smiling at them. Hahaha! The same goes for Xin Rui, she's like Miss Congeniality and she likes to wave and smile at any passerby regardless of whether they notice her or not. And people will wave back and smile at her. Hahaha! Guess my gals are just too adorable and friendly. Hee!
