Xin Rui finally turns 18 months! Now she's able to say 1234 in mandarin and she will say 'mum mum' when she wants to eat biscuits or bread that's on the table. She's also able to say 'Mei Mei' when we point to Xin Lin.
Xin Rui is definitely able to understand more of our vocabulary and when I ask her to kiss her Daddy or Grandma, she will definitely do it without fail. But strangely, it's more difficult to get her to kiss me. But I do succeed when I ask her to kiss me and me only. Hahaha!
She can also raise both her arms and legs without being told when I need to remove her clothes for her bath. She will also put her arms into the armholes and stretch her legs into her pants all by herself.
Being unable to express her thoughts well, she will mostly whine and end up crying if we do not understand her. She will also cry loudly whenever we do not give in to her requests. At this age, it's difficult to handle her and we would try our best to distract her....Sigh...
Xin Rui has also begun to do somersaults and she will play peek-a-boo with me, only it's her covering her eyes with her hands and I will shout 'Peek-a-boo' whenever she removed her hands from her face :) She somehow finds great joy in this game.
My little Xin Rui is also a good big sister to her baby sister Xin Lin. Whenever she hears Xin Lin crying, she will run to her to sayang and comfort her. She will even kiss her as well....so sweet...:)
