Happy National Day!!!

I know this is 3 days late, but been too tired to post anything. I'm even getting lazier in editing the photos.... :P

Xin Rui looking grouchy cos she just woke up and we rushed off to my brother-in-law's place

Anyway, we celebrated National Day this year at my brother-in-law's place as his flat was high enough for a clear view of the fireworks :)
Cousin Xinying smiling happily for the camera while Xin Rui is busy with Xinying's toys

"Shen3 Shen1, this is for you..." Awww....so cute.
Xin Rui totally engrossed with the drum sticks
We had a sumptuous steamboat dinner, followed by watching the NDP on TV and of course eagerly anticipating the fireworks. It's Xinrui's first time watching fireworks and initially she wasn't very interested. But she soon was mesmerised by the fireworks and kept saying 'Wah'....hehehe! Xin Lin was too small and I reckon she was also excited. Hehehe! We also had grapes and somehow Xin Rui got the idea of feeding me grapes. It was sweet at first but she kept popping the grapes into my mouth non-stop and I hardly got the chance to chew before she popped another right into my mouth. Hahahaha....ah well, toddlers will be toddlers, I guess. These few days, she also goes to her Daddy when she's tired and wants to sleep. I guess I'm a bit bony n top for her to lay her head to rest. She always ends up trying to adjust to a comfortable position on my shoulder. Hahaha!

Looking forward to the next National Day when Xin Lin is old enough to join in the celebration with us. :)

Stand Up, stand up for Singapore!
