Today marks the day where my little princess turns 16 months old. It's really crazy how time passes so quickly for us. Now Xin Rui has 7 teeth and is able to show more emotions, mainly anger....hahaha! when she doesn't get the things she wants. She will cry and cry for no reason or when triggered by the smallest things. I guess she's reaching the 'terrible two' stage where she turns rebellious and test her boundaries. Sigh...

Anyway, Xin Rui is also able to climb up and down furniture with more ease, creating a headache for me as I have to run after her and prevent her from falling. She's also able to climb up the stairs while holding on to my hand. Every morning, I will hold her her hand and we will walk to the babysitter's house together. When we reach the lift, she will stand very close to the wall and wait patiently for the door to open. Then, she will climb the stairs up to the babysitter's place.

When I go and fetch her in the evening, she will give me her brightest smile and run to pick up her shoes and pass them to me immediately, so that I can put them on for her and go home. I also noticed some thing that has never happened before when we bring her to the babysitter. She actually cries when she saw that I'm leaving. In the past, she will happily go to the babysitter and let her carry. Now, she cries a little when she knows I'm about to leave and she will stretch out her hand to gesture for me to carry her and bring her home with me. My hubby said that she's more clingy to me to to him. He had no problem leaving her at the babysitter during the period that I was pregnant with Xin Lin. I dread to think how Xin Rui will behave when she has to attend school....sigh....
Xin Rui is also getting more fussy with food. She will still eat her porridge but put her fingers into her tiny mouth to pick out the food that she doesn't like, for eg, fish. And then she will act as if she's vomitting when there's nothing to vomit out. Well, I guess that's a toddler for you. Life is never dull with her around :P
