Precious Smiles

Now that Xin Lin is coming to 2 months old, she's beginning to smile a lot more than when she was first born. She will smile very sweetly when I talk to her or tickle her chin. However, she seems to have a quota for her smiles as she will stop smiling after a while no matter what you do. It seems as if she wants to let you know that her smiles are very precious. Indeed, it makes me appreciate her smiles more. One single sweet smile is more than enough to melt your heart, just like her elder sister. Awwww.... :)

"Why is Mummy making all those weird faces?"

"It's actually quite funny...hee!"

"Okie, since Mummy is making so much effort to make me smile,
I shall not disappoint her."

"Mummy, what do you think of my smiles? Sweet, right?"

"But I got quota for my smiles leh. Otherwise, not precious anymore.
Come back tomorrow for more. Hee!"

Xin Lin is also more responsive to us now. When I talk to her or ask her a question, she will respond by cooing and making some sort of sound with her sweet voice. It's as if she understands what I'm saying. :)

"Hmmm....is Mummy talking to me again?"

"Okie, I shall let her know that I understand what's she's talking about.
If not, this will go on forever....:P"

Mummy: "Xin Lin, can you say 'Wooo' for me?"

"Wooooooo. Happy now?"

"All these talking is making me tired. I need my beauty sleep...Zzzz"
