After taking the medicine, Moo Moo seemed to be back to her usual self but I could see that she was still tired though she took her porridge. During night time, her fever shot back to 39 degree again and we had to force her to take the medicine and she will cry and splatter it out.
The next day, she hardly had any appetite and took little milk. When at night, she was still very feverish and she cried throughout the night. I try to hug her and play with her to cheer her up, But she continued to cry. I knew she was hungry but she pushed away all bottles and refused to take even a sip of water or milk. I think she has a phobia of what we put into her mouth due to the force-feeding of the medicine. I only managed to coax her to take some baby snacks. After 2-3 hours of crying and much trying, I finally succeeded in 'shoving' the milk bottle into her mouth and made her drink her milk. She only had half a bottle before she finally fell asleep. It was most painful for me to watch her cry like that, especially when you can hear that her voice is already hoarse from all the crying and she's hungry and in much discomfort.
Fortunately, her fever has now subside and she's almost back to usual smiley self.
