Yellow Lion

Remember this mobile toy that I bought for Xin Rui some time back? I called it our best investment because Xin Rui loves to look at it. Nowadays, she gets bored with it easily and it can only capture her attention for a short while. If I'm lucky, she will stare at it and that gives me some peace and quiet or time to change her diapers.

One day, Xin Rui was particularly grouchy and she was making a lot of noise. She could not be pacified no matter what we did. I use a yellow lion toy that rattles to distract her and it worked a bit. But I got to keep shaking it and trust me, after shaking the silly lion for so long, it's kind of tiring. So I became lazy and decided to hang the yellow lion on the mobile toy and let it revolve. Amazingly, Xin Rui was fascinated by it and every time the lion came near her, she would open her mouth and attempt to eat it. Hahaha! It was so funny to watch her. And after trying for quite a few times, she got a bit irritated waiting for the lion to come near her and she stretched out her hand to pull the lion down. I hanged it back and the whole process repeated itself. Xin Rui gets bored easily nowadays. So we have to keep her company. If not, she will start to make noise. No more peace and quiet until she sleeps....Sigh...

Oohh...the lion is coming....
