Moo Moo Is 6 Months Old!

My little princess turns 6 months old today! Yippie! We brought her to Hort Park for lunch with my old friends. We've been friends since secondary school time. Which means we have been friends for 19 years! Gosh, that's super long. Hahaha! We always have a good time when we gals go out together and this time was no different except one of our friend was not able to join us as she was not feeling well. Hopefully she will feel much better soon :)

I recently DIY a hat for my little princess and I decided to let her wear it to Hort Park. Actually I saw a similar hat going for $33.90 in the stores but I find it a tad too expensive, so I decided to DIY one myself by just buying the flower for less than $10 and clipping it to the hat which was a gift from a friend. The result was an adorable hat and nobody can guess the price. Hehehe! I think Xin Rui looks lovely wearing the hat, don't you agree? :)

Hort Park was very crowded due to the Garden Tech 2009 and we managed to squeeze through the crowd and get to the restaurant. We had a sumptuous lunch at KHA and I was able to enjoy most part of my lunch in peace as my friends took turn carrying and playing with Moo Moo. As usual, Xin Rui charmed everyone with her mesmerising and irresistible smile of hers. She was in quite a good mood today and we even went to Hort Park for a short stroll before heading to Vivo City to jalan and have our dinner.

When we finally reached home, poor Xin Rui was a little grouchy from all the gai gai and she cried a while before finally going to bed. Phew!

Tomorrow, I shall try to start to cook porridge for my dearie princess. I wanted to cook today but time was too rushed for me. Nevermind. My babysitter was very gan cheong that I did not cook porridge for Moo Moo over the weekends and she even gave us a small packet of 'new rice' to cook as it turns softer faster and is better for babies. Though I've cooked porridge before, porridge for babies is more challenging as I'm only cooking a smaller portion and everything has to be really soft in order for my baby to swallow. Hopefully it'll be a success tomorrow!
