Pacifier, To Give Or Not To Give

I've been trying not to give Xin Rui any pacifier as I've heard of some disadvantages of giving a baby pacifier, crooked teeth, over-reliance, to name a few. But Xin Rui really likes to suck her fingers a lot and she makes really loud sucking noises when she sucks her fingers.

My hubby and I thought it might be even harder to make her stop sucking her fingers than pacifier, so we gave Xin Rui her first pacifier two days ago. At first, she was sucking happily, then I think she realised that there's no milk nor water coming out, so she stuck out her tongue and popped the pacifier out. Haha!

So much for pondering whether to give her the pacifier or not. Haha! Looks like our little princess can make her own decision.

Xin Rui's right eye is a little red from all the rubbing of the mitten on her face.
