Nowadays, we call Xin Lin 'Mei Mei' and Xin Rui by her name. So Xin Rui will call Xin Lin 'Mei Mei' but Xin Lin will call Xin Rui by her name. We try to correct her and ask her to call Xin Rui 'Jie Jie' which she did but she will add the word 'Mei Mei' after the word 'Jie Jie'. Haha!
Both of them like to fight for toys. Normally, they will be playing with their own toys and I will leave them to do my things. A few moments later, there will be screaming and crying and I come out to see both of them hitting each other or Xin Lin yanking her sister's hair and Xin Rui bawling her eyes out or. Somehow, Xin Lin loves to pull her sister's hair when it comes to fighting...I think it's her fighting tactics. And when she pulls, it's at least 5-8 strands of hair. Sigh...
When they fight, I will put both of them at the naughty corner, a tactic that normally works for me. Xin Lin will continue to cry while sitting in the corner and even try to kick her sister while Xin Rui will be sobbing and trying to hit back. Usually after 10 minutes, they will calm down and I will tell them to say sorry and hug and sayang each other before telling them not to do it again and give them a big hug myself. But being kids, they will still fight and the whole process repeats again. Sometimes, they will get exhausted after crying and even fall asleep in the naughty corner. Haha!

Sleeping in the naughty corner...However, there are times when both of them are nice to each other. For eg, Xin Rui will share her food with Xin Lin and even feed her occasionally. Sometimes, Xin Rui will also act like a big sister (or maybe she's just imitating me?) and tell her sister not to stand too close to the TV or not to do any naughty thing. She will take the initiative to ask her sister to dance together with her with music playing on the hi-fi by saying "Come, one, Mei Mei" I always like to watch them dance. Both of them have very different styles of dancing. Xin Rui has a certain gracefulness when she dances and she even have ending poses. Xin Lin's dance is more rhythmic and tribal like. It's more like prancing/jumping when she dances. :)
