I have two Little Miss Chatterboxes at home. One will go 'Mummy, Mummy, Mummy' all the time and the other goes 'Ah Boo Doo Choo Waa Yoo'. Ok, I think nobody can make any sense out of the second sentence. It's kind of chinese meet english meet japanese meet korean meet spanish meet hokkien...well, you get the point. It's basically a language of its own. It's baby talk. And the one who's speaking the language is none other than my little princess Xin Lin.
Recently, Xin Lin has been 'talking' a lot and I mean a lot. She will add in plenty of hand gestures and speak as if we can all understand her. It's like she wants to talk so badly yet she has not learnt our language. Haha!
There are occasions when she will 'complain' why we let Xin Rui write with a pen or play with certain toys that are not suitable for her. And boy, she can really complain. She will 'talk' non-stop and raise her hands and point to Xin Rui and then to us, as if telling us that she wants the pen or toy and it's unfair why Jie Jie can have it and she can't. Hahaha!
Xin Rui, on the other hand, loves to call me 'Mummy' for no reason all the time. Sometimes, when she does that, I will call her name several times and she will smile and repeat her own name. Haha! Such is the fun of having a baby and toddler :)
