Xin Lin now has two teeth on her lower gum and one more sprouting in her upper gum. She is definitely more active now and is crawling more steadily, lifting her tummy off the floor. In fact, she's a very fast learner. Once she started to crawl more steadily, she's learning to stand without support. Yes, that's right, my impatient little tigress now wants to stand on her own. She's able to stand without support for a good 2-3 seconds. Though it might not seem much, it's considered a challenge for a baby whose legs are gradually learning to support the body and I'm proud of her for trying. :)
She's also revealing more of her character with each passing day and everyone can tell that she's going to be a feisty little one, hahaha! But she's still very much the same adorable and responsive baby that we know. :)
Xin Lin is also able to hold her own milk bottle. I've been waiting so long for this day to come. Cos when I feed her, I cannot do anything else. Hahaha. But alas, the happiness is short-lived cos my lazy little princess discovered that if she holds her own milk bottle, I wont be near her. Thus, so far, she has only hold the milk bottle thrice. Now, no matter what I do to pull her hand towards the bottle, she will try her best to fling my hand away. Instead, she will only use both her hands to cover her eyes when she drinks her milk. Or she will scratch her head or ear. *Faint*
She's also refusing to sleep immediately after her last night feed, going through the same phase as Xin Rui around this age. Fortunately for us, with prior experience, we know what to expect and it's a little bit easier to handle. Xin Lin will crawl round the bedroom and explore every corner possible. In the past, we leave the bedroom door slightly ajar and she couldn't leave the bedroom no matter how hard she tried. But now, she can open the door easily and crawl out of our bedroom. So yesterday, after repeated attempts to carry her back after her escape, we got fed up and closed the door. She immediately cried when she realised that she cannot open the door for her great exploration. That perhaps got her in a bad mood and she cried loudly for a long time yesterday night. In the end, we have to let her watch some nursery song video before she finally fell asleep. Even then, she couldn't sleep very well and woke up once or twice and cried for a little while. Sigh....guess my panda eyes are going to come back.....
'See my two pearly white?' Hee!
