My little baby is finally 6 months old! Just slightly before she turned 6 months old, she tried to sit on her own in the stroller with just one arm gently touching the side handle for support. I was surprised when I saw her sit on her own. This is one baby who's got a mind of her own and refused to lie down even though her back is still not strong enough to support her own weight. Hahaha!!

"Mummy, I can sit...really...please let go of your hand..."
She has also mastered the art of flipping. Previously, one of her arm will always get stuck beneath her when she flipped. But after trying a few times, she was smart enough to know that if she does a bigger flip, she has time to pull her hand out before her belly squashes it. That's my smart baby :) Hee! Nowadays, she will always flip and lie on her tummy every time I lie her down on her back. I think she enjoys the view. Hee! Every morning, I will find Xin Lin sleeping peacefully on her tummy. Sometimes, her leg or hand will be in between the rails of the cot and she will whine for my attention. I guess it's time to get the bumper to cover the rails. hehe!
"Mummy said I give her a scare every morning when she sees me sleep like this.
So it's become her daily routine to check if I'm still breathing...hahaha!"
"Hmm..the view is totally different from here. I should have done this long ago..."
"Mummy, are you taking photos of me again?"
"Let me give you one of my best smile...:)"
"Flipping is such hard work...I shall reward myself with sucking my thumb..."

"My neck is tired, I need a break.."
Xin Lin also likes to say 'Bah Bah Bah' repeatedly. Hahaha. It's so funny to hear her keep saying it and she will hit whatever things she happens to reach at that time with her hand, be it my hand, a toy or her sister. Hahaha! Though her big sister can be a terror at times, Xin Rui will simply laugh or try to 'siam' when her little sister hit her or pull her hair. One thing's for sure, both sisters loves to pull their mummy's hair. Whenever I change their diaper or clothes, they will almost definitely reach for my long hair and pull it. So I will use my hair to 'entertain' them when I need to distract them and make them hold still long enough for me to change their diaper. I think they see my hair as a toy.....Sigh...my poor hair, as if hair fall is not bad enough after the 4th month of giving birth. The sacrifices of motherhood...weight gain, hair fall, stretch marks, rushed meals, little or nil 'Me' time, multi-task as entertainer (sing and dance for them), maid (bathe, feed, clean the mess left behind by them), teacher (teach them ABC and 123) and bed/chair (yes, my elder daughter prefers to 'sleep' or 'sit' on me than the bed or chair *shake head*) But the remmuneration that I get is their lovely smiles..priceless! :)
