Xin Lin is definitely getting heavier day by day. She's also very very responsive. I went to see her at my MIL's place yesterday before going to the hospital to visit my mum. I'm not sure if it's because she has not seen me for a few days or what, but she kept smiling and cooing to me when I talk to her and it lasted for at least 15mins!?! Normally, she will lose her attention and not smile so much or coo after a short while, so she really surprised me yesterday when she 'talks' to me. Hee! Gosh, I really miss her sweet sweet smile so much...
When I had Xin Rui, I thought I couldn't love or dote on another baby just as much. So when I was pregnant with Xin Lin, I was a little worried that I would not be fair and give my love equally to both my girls. But it turned out that my worries are unduly. I love Xin Lin just as much. Ahhh....the greatness of motherhood. You can never have too much love for your child. So it pains me when I heard the news of a mother throwing her child into the washing machine and thereafter strangling her to death. I cannot understand how a mother can do that kind of thing to her own child. Being a mother of two, I nearly teared when I heard the news cos I cannot imagine anything happening to my two little precious princesses. Ok, I'm going a little too far, back to my baby...
Besides being responsive, Xin Lin is also getting louder when she poos. It's as if she wants the whole world to know that she's pooing. Hahaha! Her neck muscle is also getting stronger and her head does not wobble as much as before. I think it will be soon when my little one starts to hold her head high and proud. :)
