We brought our two little princesses for their vaccinations last week. Originally, we were only able to make an appointment for a slot to do vaccination for Xin Rui cos of the PD's very tight schedule. But I thought I will try my luck and get the PD to vaccinate and assess Xin Lin too and brought Xin Lin's health booklet too. Fortunately for us, our PD is a very kind and nice man and he did the assessment and vaccination for Xin Lin so that we do not have to come back on another day. Xin Rui weighs 9.4kg and her height is 80cm while Xin Lin is 4.9kg at slightly less than 6 weeks old. Everything was ok for both my little princesses and the PD said that Xin Lin is growing very well, with strong legs and a healthy weight. She's also very responsive to the torchlight.
Though the PD said that there's only 10% chance of developing a fever after the jabs, I knew that my two princesses are sure to have fever after the jab from past experiences. Indeed, that very night, both of them developed a mild fever but it subsided the next morning. Perhaps it's because of the fever, both of them slept pretty early and throughout the night, giving me and my hubby the much needed rest :)
