One year ago, a beautiful little princess came into our lives and brought us lots of joy and wonderful memories ever since. I still remembered the first time I held her in my arms, being amazed how I managed to give birth to such a precious little thing and feeling glad that she chose us as her parents. And now, she's finally one year old.
From the first time I first laid my eyes on her sweet face, she always has the most radiant smile on her face no matter what. I still remembered vividly that she can even smiled when she's sleeping and the nurse was fascinated by her as well :) She's the sunshine of our lives and I often found myself smiling just looking at her. She has grown and changed so much that it's hard to believe that she's the same baby that I carried one year ago...Take a look at the photos below and you'll know what I mean :) It's a little scary how time flies and in a few more months, she'll be walking on her own.

Xin Rui can now stand on her own without support, try to balance to prevent herself from falling, drink from a cup/straw, likes to say 'Ai, Ai, Ai' and 'Dah, Dah, Dah'. Sometimes I think I heard her say 'Gai Gai' or 'Pom Pom'. Hee! She can clap, sway to music and put both her hands together when she say 'Gong Xi, Gong Xi' (a new trick that she picked up from me within a few days, hee!) Recently, she also likes lying on my chest and shoulders and act all manja. Hee. My relatives and friends think it's because she's jealous of her younger sister and the fact that I carry her lesser nowadays as it's becoming increasingly difficult to do so with my growing tummy.
Though people still say that she looks exactly like me, I think she's beginning to look more and more like my hubby :) I wonder how she will look like when she's all grown up? A little beauty, I'm sure....cos it runs in the family. Hehehehe!
