Just before Moo Moo fell sick, we brought her and her cousin Xinying to swim in the morning. I was finally able to put Moo Moo in the new swimming costumes that I ordered for her online. It was a little big for her and she did not like the swimming cap much. Hahaha! But she still looks cute in it. Hee!
When we finally reached the pool, there were very few people and we have the tiny wading pool
all to ourselves. We placed both Xin Rui and Xinying into the pool and the water proved to be a little too cold for them as they were used to warm water when they take their bath. So both of them ended up crying and making noise. In the end, I didnt get to use the neck float that I bought as my hubby had to place Xin Rui in his lap and encouraged her to play with the water. On the other hand, Xinying was contented to stay in her yellow duckie float. But somehow, she kept frowning. Hahaha!

Both of them only splatter the water and ended up with water droplets all over their face. After around 15 minutes, I realised Xin Rui's body was quite cold and I immediately called it quits as I was afraid she might catch a cold. So we quickly gave her a rinse and wipe her dry before wrapping her up in a cloth. Then my hubby and his brother went to swim since we seldom had a chance to visit the pool. And my sister-in-law and I ended up with both babies sleeping peacefully in our arms. We reckoned that it was the sound of the water that makes them sleep. Hahaha!
Hopefully we can bring both of them to swim the next time but it'll have to be in the late morning when the water temperature is warmer and more suitable for them. :>
