Now that Xin Rui is older, she has become more adventurous in eating. So far, besides potatoes, banana, tofu and carrots, we have also given her pumpkin, fish, apple, bread and oh yes, kiwi. Watching Xin Rui trying new food is always entertaining. She is always greedy and will demand to eat whatever we are eating by 'Ahh-ing' very loudly. There was once we went to a steamboat restaurant and she started 'Ahh-ing' so loudly that the whole restaurant could hear her. Sigh. my hubby and I had to take turn to eat as quickly as possible and try to get out of the restaurant in order to minimise the disturbance to the other customers. Hahaha!
Anyway, as I was saying, it's entertaining to watch Xin Rui when we introduce new food to her. My hubby gave her some kiwi last week and she eagerly opened her mouth to eat it. A few seconds later, she crunched up her face and we knew it was a little too sour for her. Nevertheless, she continued eating and crunching up her face each time she ate the kiwi fruit. Hahaha! The expression was priceless :)

Xin Rui waiting eagerly for the kiwi fruit...

"...it's soooooo sour, Mummy...."
"...but I like it...hee!"
