Christmas Parties!!!

This is Moo Moo's first Christmas with us and we started our first party on Christmas Day. One of our NUS friend invited us to his house and there were many other kids around. Unfortunately, Moo Moo was not in the mood to party and we didn't know any of the other people there and the house was too hot and crowded, so we decided to make a move and visit my Mum instead. We wanted to visit our in-laws but they were not around. It seems they themselves have a lot of programmes for Christmas too :)

Anyway, we fetched my Mum and we went to Suntec City as she wanted to buy some nice clothes and shoes for Moo Moo's 1st year birthday. It's a kind of tradition in our family to do it for the kids. So Moo Moo is no exception. :) We bought some nice clothes but couldn't find matching shoes, so we went around taking photos at Suntec and Marina Square instead.

As usual, Xinrui enjoyed herself in the air-conditioned mall and by the time we went home, she was already exhausted. Unfortunately, both my hubby and I had diarrhoea that night and we spent the night visiting the toilet. We highly suspect that it might be the weird tasting Shepperd pie that we ate. Sigh....

On Boxing Day, we were feeling much better and we went to my JC friend's Christmas cum housewarming party at Punggol Central. As usual, it was hard to keep Moo Moo still while trying to eat and she made a lot of noises cos it was a bit hot and she was perspiring like crazy, so I didn't have the chance take any photos. We then made a move to Bishan Prawn Pond to show support for one of my grassroots leader's event though it was raining. Afterwhich, all of us were too tired to do anything other than go home to rest. Dinner was porridge that we cooked for Moo Moo but in a larger portion. Err...not sure how Moo Moo can enjoy the porridge so much cos it was rather bland. I had to add quite a bit of pepper and some light soya sauce to make it more palatable. Hahaha! But Moo Moo ate the porridge happily. It goes to show how little it takes to make a baby happy and contented. Hahaha! It makes you feel how adults are so greedy and demanding...:P

The very next day, we woke up early to bring Moo Moo and Munk Munk to Bishan Park. It's been a while since we brought Munk out and we felt guilty for not spending more time with him ever since the arrival of Moo Moo. We later went to my younger sister's new house at the Prisons Quarters. It was cosy and nicely done up. My Mum and elder sister were also there and we had a wonderful time there. Though I don't know many of her friends very well, they were very friendly and several of them even gave us and Xin Rui presents. I took lots and lots of photos there as my Mum was around to take care of Moo Moo and I could have a little break and feast on the many goodies my sis and her friends prepared.
And when there's kids, especially with my elder sister's two little terror, life is always entertaining. My little niece and nephew somehow managed to lock themselves up in one of the rooms and we had a tough time trying to get them to unlock the door. Thankfully, my brother-in-law managed to find the room keys and let them out. Then, my nephew Leonidas fell from one of the little hole behind the sofa and cried pitifully. Fortunately he was alright. But he did it again and knocked himself into the coffee table. Well, boys will be boys. Haha! But he's also an adorable boy who likes to give you a sudden bear hug from behind. Hee! And whenever you ask him to hug you, he will hug you tightly immediately. But when we asked him to hug Xin Rui, he somehow does it more gently. Awww...so sweet.
I let Xin Rui wear this Christmas outfit that I got from my colleague which I believed she got it from her friend. Fortunately, Xin Rui can fit into it and this is the only time she can wear it. But I can save it for my next baby girl, Stripey. :) Anyway, Xin Rui looked so Christmasy and cute in it. Loking forward to the next Christmas when Stripey arrives next year :)

Bribing Moo Moo with toys before I can take
a decent photo of her in the Xmas outfit
'When can I go 'gai gai'?

Finally, I can take a good pic of Xin Rui in the outfit...

'Shhh...don't tell my Xiao Yi that I played with her gorilla...'

One of my favourite pic of my little princess...

'Mummy, can I come down???'

A rare chance to take a photo of the 3 active ones...

Even more rare, my niece, Ariel agreeing to take photos
and hugged Xin Rui very tightly. Awww..

What did they say about man and boy? They love their gadgets...

My nephew, Leonidas normally does not play much with my hubby but
it's a different story when my hubby took out his handphone...hee!

Leonidas even attempts to bribe my hubby by hugging him. *Cute*

Xin Rui got a cute panda for Christmas

Moo Moo being emo...

Xin Rui opening my present and looking cute with the tiny Christmas hat...

Unable to get the sticker out of her hand...
