Though Xin Rui had fever, she was still a curious baby and she would grab whatever she can see. My hubby and I placed a mattress in the living room so that we do not have to worry about Moo Moo falling off the bed. (yes, it happened before and fortunately it was not serious and we did not want to risk it happening again.)
Last Saturday night, I was sitting on the mattress on the floor and holding her upright while watching TV. Xin Rui suddenly pulled away from me and attempt to reach for a bag on the sofa behind me. She actually supported herself on the sofa and grab my bag handle successfully! I was surprised that she could stand and I quickly went to grab my camera. I managed to take a few photos before Xin Rui lost her balance and fell down on the mattress. The next day, she did it again and she stood a little longer than the day before.
And oh, did I mention that she can crawl too? Quite a few days ago, she started crawling all over the house and I had to follow her to make sure she doesn't grab anything along the way. Unfortunately, one day while crawling from the living to the study room to look for her Daddy, she fell flat on her face and hit her cheek. But that does not deter her from crawling and she's becoming better at it everyday. Soon, I think she will be able to crawl faster than I say 'Moo Moo'. Hahaha!
