Recently, Xin Rui has started to suck on her fists. We would sometimes take off her mittens for fear she would not release her fists and we would find her sucking happily on the side of her fists. When we put her mittens back on, she would suck on her mittens instead. So she ended up with really wet mittens.
Last Sunday, I met a mother at a restaurant whose son has been sucking his thumb since he was in her womb. The mother said that when she did her ultrasound scans, the doctor told her that her son likes to suck on his thumb and he's still doing it though he's 18 months old now. I hope she won't end up sucking on her thumb very often.
Nowadays, Xin Rui would also make loud sucking sounds and it's cute to hear her do that. I think she finds it entertaining too. Haha!
