Moo Moo In A Sarong

Last Sunday when I brought Xin Rui over to my mum's place, we decided to let her try out the sarong cos the right side of her head was getting obviously flatter compared to the left side, just like me. When I was still a baby, my mum somehow did not let me sleep in the sarong like my sister. So given a choice, I would want my baby to sleep in a sarong so that she has a round head.

I think Xin Rui likes the sarong as it swayed according to her movements and she kept kicking her legs inside the sarong. Finally, she can't moved downwards like when she was in the cot. Haha! I noticed that she will really move from one end of the cot to almost the other end of the cot on some days. It's really amazing how she can move down so far. Sometimes, when we put her on our big bed, she can turn 90 degree to her left or right side, depending on her mood. So we always put her right in the centre, for fear of her dropping off the bed.

Xin Rui also seems to be adjusting well to the new environment at the babysitter's place but so far, she has never poo there. She will normally poo when she comes back home. I will always asked the babysitter if Xin Rui poo that day and the answer will always be 'No'. Xin Rui is just like her Daddy who feels more comfortable pooing in the comfort of our home. Haha! Nowadays, she tends to poo on alternate days rather than everyday. I hope she would not get constipation.

It's easy to know when she poos cos she will make loud 'mmm' sounds and her legs will straighten and bend and straighten again as the poo comes out and she will be very focused even when she's drinking her milk. She will stop sucking and focused on pooing before continuing her feed. Haha! I always like to watch her do that and I tried to catch it on video but so far has been unsuccessful cos most of the time when she poo, I'm feeding her and can't get the camera in time. But I managed to record her pooing sound once and it was really loud. I let my hubby hear it and he can't believed the sound came from her. Haha!
