My Tummy At 5th Month

2 days ago, I had a nightmare that I weigh 70kg when I'm just 5 months pregnant. Gosh, that was really a horrible dream and I woke up from that scare. Haha! I told my hubby and he laughed cos he thought I wouldn't go beyond 60 plus kg. Judging from my current wonderful appetite, I think it's likely that I'm gona hit around 65kg. Sigh....That would be almost a 16kg increase from my pre-pregnancy weight.

Recently, I went for a 3-day course and my instructor could not believe that I was 5 months pregnant. She thought I was just a bit fat. Another of my course mate also thought I looked very young to be a mother. I think she thought I was in my early 20s. Haha. So that made me felt a bit happier. At least I still look young and just a bit fat. Haha!

My tummy has gotten itchier more often and I've been more diligent in applying my stretchmark cream and olive oil. It has become part of my routine to apply the cream on my tummy area and moisturiser on my legs and thighs cos they were also expanding. Some of the tshirts that I used to wear were also getting too small and I had to buy a few more tops to accommodate my growing tummy.

I went for a detailed scan a few days ago to make sure that Moo Moo's internal organs and size is ok. She was a bit naughty when we tried to do the scan. She covered part of her face with one of her hand and was busy moving around. One moment, she was crossing her legs, the very next moment, she stretch out both legs fully. It was as if she was trying to do some stretching exercise while there's still space in the womb. In a few months' time, there won't be much space for her to move around. Haha. Fortunately, all her organs seemed to be developing ok and she has a strong and steady heartbeat. It was so much fun watching her move inside me.

Moo Moo at 5 months

I think Moo Moo is going to be quite an active baby. I can feel her moments quite often everyday and my hubby was able to feel them too cos it was getting stronger. He even spoke and sang to her and I think Moo Moo did respond a few times to his voice. I read from a magazine that babies can hear men's voices better and clearer than women's voices. So hopefully, Moo Moo will be able to recognise her daddy's voice when she comes to this world. :>
