Trip to Univsersal Studio

After months and months of waiting, we finally went to Universal Studio with my mother and sisters! Though we can only take limited rides in the park because of the height limit for both our girls, I think all of us still enjoyed ourselves.

We had a sumptuous lunch at Chillis while waiting for my elder sister and her family to come. The food tasted good....maybe partly because we are in a good mood?:)

Xin Lin immediately got busy munching away...

Xin Rui was also very happy and excited about the whole trip...

In one of the ride, the staff asked me to put her next to the height chart to measure her height. Xin Lin almost couldn't pass the height limit but the staff was kind and let us through as I think Xin Lin was only 1-2cm short. But I think she was a bit scared by the ride as she was required to sit beside us in the boat and there were plenty of animals around. At one point, she struggled to ge out of her seat and I had to carry her. Almost immediately, you could hear an announcement for all the kids to sit down for their own safety. And we know that they meant Xin Lin. Hahahaha. So we had to coax her to sit down for the rest of the journey which was thankfully not very long.

USS, here we come! :)

Other than that, I think both my girls had a good time, except that Xin Rui insisted on being carried most of the time and refused to take photos with Gungfu Panda and Gloria the Hippo cos she was terrified of their giant paws and hands. Hahaha!

Think we will only go back to USS when our girls are a bit older. In the meantime, we are looking at perhaps going to the zoo or bird park or even the beach if the weather is good :)
