Xin Lin Is 1 Year Old!

I know this post is a bit late but I've been feeling rather tired taking care of my 2 gals recently. Anyway, my little princess Xin Lin is finally 1 year old! Hurray!! She has been walking around the house by leaning on to furniture or us for support. I'm definitely looking forward to the day when she can walk unaided. :)We had a little party for her on the actual day of her birthday and we were blessed with lots of gifts and ang baos from our kind relatives and close friends. Xin Lin will like to thank all the aunties, uncles, jie jie and gor gor for the lovely toys, clothes and ang paos. Nowadays, Xin Lin and Xin Rui are having a wonderful time with the toys. And we are running out of space for the ever growing size of the toys. Hahaha! I think we gona need to buy a huge storage box to store all the toys and books. :P

We ordered a lovely 2-tier cake with care bears for Xin Lin and it turned out pretty and yummy and even the children love the decorations on the cake. It was money well-spent. But in the middle of the celebration, Xin Lin was too tired and fell asleep. In the end, I have to wake her up to cut the cake as several of the guests were leaving :) Oh well, at least she didn't cry when I woke her up. Hee!

Nowadays, Xin Lin likes to say 'Oh' and use her hand to hit her mouth. She finds it amusing. She is also quite 'violent' and sometimes likes to hit our face whenever it's within her reach. But she's also a little afraid of heights and cling out tightly to our arm or clothes whenever we hold her up a little higher. Sometimes, she will laugh happily suddenly as if there's something amusing or she will keep nodding her head or swing from side to side. Though she looks 'serious' most of the time. Her smile is truly mesmerising and really brighten up my day each and every time I see it. She's now only one head shorter than Xin Rui and fast growing out of her clothes. In fact, Xin Rui and Xin Lin shares most of them clothes except for pants for Xin Rui is taller. Xin Lin is now around 9.5kg whereas Xin Rui is 12kg. I really wonder how tall both of them will be. Xin Lin still has a bit of chubby cheeks but her chin is getting a little sharper like me. Many people said she will follow my hubby's look and size and she's looking more like my hubby as she grows. But I think she still have a bit of my looks. Hee!
