Umblical Cord

Little Moo Moo's umbilical cord dropped out just slightly one week after birth. She has a nice belly button.

I've been eating almost the same old things everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For breakfast, I normally have some bread with cheese, butter or ham and sometimes I have mee sua. For lunch, I usually have rice with some chicken, fish or pork and vegetables. The dishes are mostly cooked with ginger and sesame oil. Sigh. But my confinement lady was quite nice and she tried to think of new dishes to add variety as she knew that I hate ginger. I had fried udon today and it does not taste too bad, at least something different. I also drank red date tea like water and only take water when I took my multi-vitamins and DHA.

The most unbearable part about confinement is not the food, it's not being able to wash my hair. For the first week, I couldn't stand the smell of my hair and the hot weather was not helping either. But later, it started to rain every late afternoon and I was able to tahan for 2 weeks before washing my hair. It was so shiok even though I still perspire after bathing. I use some herbal water to bathe. I think I'm gona wash my hair real soon again, probably end of this week. Hehe!
