Happy with Shopping Spree!

I just came back from Bangkok last week. Had the most wonderful time shopping there. It's the last trip before my bottle feeding and diapers changing days come next year. :P

Initially, I was still a bit worried that my body would not be able to take the long hours of shopping. But amazingly, I could shop all day. Perhaps it's mainly because my doting and wonderful hubby carried most of my heavy shopping bags without much complaints. Hehe! My poor hubby was the one who ended up with very sore legs and was exhausted by the end of my shopping spree. Hehe!

Bangkok is truly a shopping paradise. Most of the things there were really cheap, so it's hard for me not to buy anything for Moo Moo there. I bought so many clothes for Moo Moo that it can fill up a small hand carrier bag. The amount of money I spent in Bangkok for Moo Moo will only allow me to buy half that amount in Singapore for the same quality and similiar designs. Moo Moo is truly lucky to have such a fine wardrobe. I even got a pair of shoes for free from the shop owner because I bought some much from her and she herself was also heavily pregnant.

Just before flying to Bangkok, I went for my monthly checkup and was horrified to find my gynae rushing off to deliver a baby. I was told by the nurse that he would be back in an hour. I was initially sceptical about him delivering a baby so fast and was a bit worried that we might not be able to catch our flight. Miraculously, my gynae did came back in an hour and the nurse had to call me as I went to jalan around the neighbourhood while waiting for my gynae to come back. Pure luck, I guess. Or Moo Moo is bringing us luck. I think secretly, she wants me to go Bangkok to buy her pretty clothes too. Haha! Throughout the trip, Moo Moo was very well-behaved and kicked little during the night. When we came back to Singapore, she more than made up for it by kicking and moving very frequently and did I mention that her kicks were stronger too?

At 25 weeks, I weigh 58kg and Moo Moo is not doing too bad herself. She weighs approximately 828g. That's almost double what she weighed last month. I wonder if she'll be a big baby? :>

PS: I just saw from the news that the airport at Bangkok is closed because of the protesters. Phew! It was really lucky that we got back just before it happened. I really have to thank my lucky stars.
